DJ EPK
questions.
Clear answers about DJ press kits, the designer, and your finished PDF.
What is a DJ EPK?
A DJ EPK, or electronic press kit, is a digital introduction to you as an artist. It brings together your bio, photos, the genres you play, career highlights, notable venues you’ve played, and links in one polished, shareable press kit.
Why do DJs need an electronic press kit?
An EPK helps promoters, club owners, and event organizers quickly understand your experience, sound, look, and how to contact you. It gives them a clear first impression and makes your information easy to share when you’re pitching for bookings. Think of it as a CV for DJs.
What is a press folder?
A press folder is a shareable folder of promotional materials, such as approved photos, your logo, a text version of your bio, social media content ready to share, and other assets for event organizers. You can add a link to your press folder in your EPK. It’s one of the most commonly missed—and most useful—links to include.
Can I try the designer for free?
Yes. You can use the designer, explore the templates, and work on your EPK for free. Pay $9.99 USD for the final PDF only when you’re happy with the look and want to download it.
What does the $9.99 pay for?
It pays for your finished DJ EPK as a PDF, with your chosen design and the details you added. Links in the PDF are clickable.
What can I customize?
Choose from 50 designs and 12 preset color palettes, then customize the colors and refine the layout. You can choose a portrait or landscape design.
What if I make a typo?
You’ll have 30 days to change details in your approved design, including photos, your bio, and links. Your selected design and DJ name are locked.
